As your State Representative, Santosh has worked to keep Nashua affordable for families, seniors, and students. On the Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee, he backed legislation to help local small businesses grow, and he has consistently voted to protect funding for our public schools.
Santosh has proudly called Nashua home since 1997, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to his community. Starting his career as a software engineer with Fortune 500 companies, Santosh understands the challenges faced by working families firsthand.
Laid off during the 2008 financial crisis, Santosh founded Unique System Skills LLC – then reinvested its success into a licensed technical institute, empowering local workers to upgrade their skills and stay competitive.
A dedicated advocate for his neighbors, Santosh has spent years helping Nashua families find their footing – connecting people to job opportunities, mentoring them into new careers, and helping others start businesses of their own.
For over 5 years, Santosh has led a community initiative, preparing and serving meals at the Nashua Soup Kitchen, exemplifying his dedication to making a difference.
Santosh and his wife Shweta, a program manager at a medical device company, have been married 35 years and raised two children through Nashua Public Schools – one now working in healthcare, the other in environmental science. In his spare time, Santosh enjoys tennis, trail walks, and exploring Nashua's beautiful landscapes.
Hello, I’m Santosh Salvi — a Nashua resident since 1997, father of two graduates of Nashua’s public schools, your State Representative for Ward 5, and a member of the Nashua Board of Education.
I came to Nashua as a software engineer. When I was laid off in the 2008 financial crisis, I started my own company and later a licensed technical institute that has helped 2,000+ veterans and working professionals build new careers. For more than 25 years I have volunteered across Nashua — at the Soup Kitchen, in Sunday School, at blood drives, and mentoring neighbors into good jobs — with one purpose: to help residents thrive.
Public education opened doors for me and my family, and Nashua gave us a place to build a life. Now I want to make sure every family in Nashua has access to those same opportunities — and can afford to stay here.
Over the past two years as your State Representative, I have served on the Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee, where I backed legislation to help local small businesses grow and co-sponsored bills to stop insurance companies from letting an algorithm deny your care. I have voted every time to protect funding for our public schools. And on the Nashua Board of Education, I was the one member who asked why the budget did not spell out what goes to general education — because every dollar should reach a classroom.
I’m asking for your vote again because the work is not finished. I believe:
Santosh joined the Nashua Board of Education in January 2026 with one question for every decision: does this help a student? He has pushed for a budget that shows exactly what goes to classrooms, supported keeping neighborhood elementary schools open, and championed career and technical pathways so students can leave Nashua High ready for college, a trade, or a good job. He brings a parent’s perspective — both of his children went through Nashua Public Schools from kindergarten to graduation — and a business owner’s eye for making every dollar count.
Protect funding for strong public schools, so every Nashua student has great teachers and the resources to succeed.
Help seniors stay in the community they built, with more affordable housing options.
Support fair wages and the job training that leads to them, so hard work pays off for Nashua families.
Attract businesses and jobs while repairing aging roads, bridges, and public buildings.
Expand access to affordable, quality child care so parents can work and families can get ahead.
Lower prescription costs and protect access to affordable care for families and seniors.
Volunteer — door knocking, phone calls, and Election Day help at the polls.
Request a lawn sign — we deliver and install.
Spread the word — share Santosh's page with neighbors.
Donate — every contribution funds mailers, signs, and outreach.
